A Bit About Keri
Nice to meet you! I am a Licensed Social Worker with over 10 years of experience.
I received my BSW in 2011 from Northeastern Illinois University and my MSW in 2012 from the University of Illinois at Chicago, specializing in mental health. I have worked in a variety of settings including hospital, school and community mental health facilities.
I primarily utilize CBT and motivational interviewing techniques, borrowing from positive psychology from time to time. I have experience providing mental health treatment to children, adolescents and adults which has made me an expert in meeting people where they are. I pride myself on my ability to listen non-judgmentally and provide thoughtful, practical guidance to help my clients achieve their therapeutic goals.
My specialties include treating symptoms of anxiety, relationships, end of life planning and bereavement support, parenting and early childhood development, and supporting clients with autism spectrum disorder. I am also LGBTQ+, alternative relationship, and kink-affirming. I believe in every individual's right to self-determination and encourage my clients to lead the way in terms of topics and challenges they want to address in sessions.
I look forward to supporting you through your journey!
